The 8" Colored Beaker Water Pipe is a short beaker built the way a tall one is — wide cone base, straight neck, flared lip — with a dome percolator set into the neck above the downstem.
The dome is a small covered disc with slits around the bottom edge. Smoke has to pass under it and through the water a second time, which takes the edge off without the drag you get from a stacked perc.
Eight inches is the size that sits on a shelf and still gets picked up. Tall enough for the perc to do its job, short enough to hold in one hand.

Yes. Both the bowl and the downstem lift out, which makes cleaning much easier than a fixed-stem beaker.

Pull the bowl and downstem, fill with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt, cover both ends and shake, then rinse warm.
